Dubai Expo 2020 is just around the corner, with HELIOZ exhibiting throughout the whole month of November! We will be part of the Best Practice Area located in the Opportunity District in Dubai. To give you a better insight into the Expo, we want to explain the situation in Dubai to you.
The Global Best Practice Program shows real solutions to the world's biggest challenges. It highlights projects from across the globe that are taking effective and sustainable action to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The jury selected 25 projects out of 1,175 entries, including us, HELIOZ. This itself is a great honour to us. Throughout November, we represent our innovations (PAANITOP, WADI) as part of Dubai's Best Practice Area (BPA). The BPA is located within the Opportunity Pavilion, one of three main thematic district pavilions.
The Opportunity Pavilion is one of the special pavilions that will be part of the Dubai Expo 2020 – its location is in the Opportunity District. The area, covering 8784 sqm, is open from 10:00 to 22:00 and was designed by AGi Architects. The Opportunity Pavilion aims to be a place where people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds meet to celebrate human experiences together. The Mission Possible-Opportunity Pavilion welcomes visitors with three different paths that focus on three different priorities: Water, Food and Energy. Dubai Expo chose these resources because they are among the basic human needs and are part of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Opportunity District represents people who are realizing new opportunities to make a positive impact on the world. It serves to inform, bring people together and give them hope. More than 190 nations and a wide variety of organizations are taking part in the Expo.
